Goldwind was founded in 1998 in China. Goldwind is committed to becoming a global leader in clean energy, energy conservation, and environmental protection solutions. By the end of 2020, Goldwind had installed more than 73GW of wind power with over 40,000 wind turbines operating steadily in 29 countries across continents. Goldwind has a global workforce of around 8,900, of which 2,900 are R&D engineers.

Summary:

The Engineers will implement 7*24-hour remote monitoring of wind turbines, conduct record keeping and issue reporting, reduce the downtime of unit failures, and ensure the utilization rate of the wind farm meeting the contract requirements by analyzing unit operation data and compiling wind farm operation reports on the wind farm SCADA system, energy management platform (EMP), wind power prediction system, VSG/VMP reactive power control system and other systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for 7*24 hours remote monitoring of the unit, real-time monitoring of the unit’s operating status.
  • Responsible for unit shutdown records and calculation of availability.
  • Responsible for unit failure notification, failure analysis and remote reset.
  • Responsible for monthly KPI and statistics report and feedback.
  • Responsible for the collection and analysis of unit operation data, and compile operation reports.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the leaders.
  • The team of engineers will work at day and night shifts to ensure 7 X 24 operation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Skilled in information collection,planning and documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of monitoring systems.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office suites.
  • Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese is a plus.
