1. Actuarial Assistant

2. Job description

  • Assist Actuary Executive in calculating insurance premiums and form the insurance wording for insurance or reinsurance products.
  • Involves in maintaining and enhancing the actuarial technical reserve models as well as calculating periodically technical reserve like UPR IBNR (loss triangle) and catastrophe reserve under the local regulations and international practices.
  • Support to make quarterly evaluation of solvency ratio of the Company and include it in the report on solvency ratio to be sent to the Ministry of Finance as per the Law
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Actuary Executive and Line manager.

3. Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial mathematics and/or statistics ‘s major, Fresh graduates are acceptable
  • Have numerical acumen, analytical and reporting capabilities
  • Excellent knowledge for Windows Office Excel; VBA or programming skill is a plus
  • Fluently in English and/ or Chinese (4 skills)
  • Working experience in Insurance companies is a plus.
  • Good communication and Independently work
