Overall Job Purpose:

We are SCC – Specialist Computer Centres – Europe’s leading provider of IT services and solutions.

An opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Data Engineering in Microsoft data warehouse/Power BI to join an exciting and challenging transformation programme.

This role is a great opportunity for a Data Engineer/ Power BI Engineer. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience with data analysis and design, data warehouse, Microsoft Azure data services and Power BI.

Successful candidate will work within the SCC IT Development team to design, develop and maintain for IT projects within the SCC Group. They will also perform any other duties which may be allocated to them due to developing technologies and business requirements.

Main Duties of Job:

 Develops, designs and deploys systems to support BI, reporting, dashboards and data warehouse.

 Develop and test database script, store procedures, triggers, function to support database mapping.

 Implement user access controls and data security measure where appropriate.

 Work collaborative with other team members to achieve business objectives.

 Following agile methodology for software development process, using Azure DevOps tool to apply DevOps process.

 Liaising with the business and project team to understand and refine requirements

 Attend daily stand-ups, retrospectives and sprint planning sessions

 Estimate work being considered for future sprints.

 Taking responsibility for projects/tasks and reporting of progress to line management.

Yêu cầu công việc

Required:

 Must have 03 years of experience in data analysis and design, data warehouse.

 Proficient in SQL / TSQL language, stored procedure, database index, table partition.

 Understand data structure & data management tools such as RDBMS, logical design, schema, data warehouse, SQL Server (SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS), ETL process.

 Have experience in data visualize, formula, graphic charts, dashboard.

 Familiar with Agile methodology and Scrum framework for software development process.

 Willing to learn new technologies, proactive researching and self-studying to get understanding new domain knowledge.

 Ability work well in individual as well as in a team across multiple locations.

 Strong English communication both in verbal and writing.

Advantageous:

 Understanding of enterprise data warehousing concepts/tools, relational databases, and hierarchical data schemes.

 Experience in using Microsoft Azure data services such as Power BI, Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Power Apps

 An understanding of security concepts including access control and data security.

 Experience on using build and deployment automation technology.

 Understanding of Azure Datalake architecture

Report Line:

 Report to VN/UK Technical lead and Project manager
