Job brief

  • Position: Online English Teacher
  • Class duration: 45 minutes/ slot;
  • Flexible teaching hours: from 8:00 am to 11:45 pm (GMT +7) | 16 teaching slots per day | Monday - Sunday;
  • Location: Home-based or any other convenient location in the world;
  • Types of the program: General English for Vietnamese adult learners;
  • Teaching on TOPICAs platform integrating with Zoom;
  • Expected start working date: Oct 17th, 2022

Job description

Teachers hold a vital role in effectively delivering Native X tailor-made online lessons, actively engaging students in live class learning activities, and helping them learn English in the best way that they can. Teaching activities include:

  • Provide sufficient teaching hours as required;
  • Preview and follow provided lesson plans and presentations to teach students General English or other Topica English programs;
  • Correct pronunciation; grammar mistakes for students;
  • Conduct substitute teaching when needed;
  • Complete students feedback;
  • Follow the requirements stated in Teacher’s Handbook.

Stellenanforderung

1.Education & Training

  • 4th-year students majoring in English Language and English Pedagogy or candidates who graduated and had an orientation to teaching English;
  • Having English Language Teaching Certificate (TEFL/ TESOL/ CELTA) is an advantage;

2.Skills, Abilities, Experience

  • Have IELTS 7.0 certificate or good English ability, flexible speaking, and standard pronunciation;
  • Having 1-2 years of experience in teaching English is an advantage;

3.Technical Requirements

  • Operation System: at least macOS: 10.9 / Windows: 10 Professional;
  • Hardware: At least CPU: 4 core 1.8 GHz; RAM: >= 8 GB;
  • Internet band with: Ping <20ms; Upload >20Mbps; Download >30Mbps;
  • Have webcam; headphones and microphone;

4.Other

  • Should be a team player; highly disciplined; proactive and tech-savvy.
