Job description

  • Prepare yearly plan for regional level to ensure optimal operation at best cost and SLA.
  • Initiate and follow up projects to improve Linehaul operation.
  • Review and monitor BAU/Spike-day plan for number of trucks.
  • Ensure implementation of plan to ensure quality (timing, missing, lost) and quantity (number of trucks)
  • In collaboration with other functions, address urgent cases (e.g., emergent request of extra truck/replacement, overloaded stations, heavy traffic, ETC.)
  • Ensure continuous improvement of performance (on-time and fulfilment) and operation efficiency (SOPs)
  • Deeply understand root cause of failures in Operation (e.g., late, driver’s fraud, ETC.)
  • Build up good relationship with on-site teams (SOC, FMLM) and drivers.
  • Ensure driver’s compliance with internal and external regulation/SOP (e.g., no tolerance of alcohol, drugs, ETC.)
  • Actively contribute/ input detailed understandings from the ground (operation, driver, ETC.) to support high level on operation optimization.
  • Work on shift-base: On-site 30% and monitoring through system 70%.

Job requirement

  • College, bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation, facility management will be an advantage.
  • Experienced as Linehaul Coordinator or similar: min 3 years.
  • Analytical mindset: Good
  • Problem-solving: Excellent
  • Task management: Good
  • Team Collaboration: Good
  • Truck monitoring GPS/Tools: Experienced
  • Excel/Reporting and Analytical tools: Intermediate
  • English reading skill: Good
  • Experienced in team management.
  • Experience in SOP Design/Optimization is a big plus.
