Job description

1. User management:

• Providing first and second line technical support for staff

• Creation of new user accounts, including user folders and shares

• Diagnosing user faults e.g logon issues, profile faults, permission errors, etc.

• Email configuration and mailbox creation

• Training and handover corporate assets

2. Hardware:

• Configuration and installation of new/replacement PC, server, and peripheral hardware, including printers, projectors, scanners, etc.

• Installation and support of new networking hardware e.g switches, wireless access points

• Network fault diagnosis

• Provide video conferencing support at: Zoom, Google Meet, livestreaming,..

• Provide AudioVisual equipment support for events, both internal and external

• Access information on the CCTV system as required and produce copies for management team. Ensure all CCTV equipment is operating correctly and report any faults to the IT Manager

• Assisting in the distribution and support of staff loan equipment

• Management and maintenance of the corporate assets

3. Software:

• Deployment of operating system and relevant software as per required

• Support of installed applications assisting in diagnosing software faults

• Manage & update corporate systems

• Perform patch/upgrade testing as required

• Ensure security of IT infrastructure maintenance/monitoring of antivirus, patching and network monitoring

• Undertake proactive research into system upgrades

• Management and configuration of the wireless, CCTV and telephone systems

• Zoom adminstration, support and control meeting/call

• Administration, maintenance, support enduser using platform: Bitrix24, Base, CamLy

4. General:

• Log and respond to calls on the helpdesk and where required escalate to the IT Manager

• Provide telephone, email and face to face support

• Design and implement technical projects

• Write and maintain system documentation

• Maintain a clean and organized working environment at all times

• Stock maintenance and resupply – ensuring at all times the staff has the appropriate stocks of spares and parts, including paper, toner and organizing resupply as appropriate

• Obtaining quotes from suppliers as requested

• To arrange for the digital recording of TV and other media encoding as requested by staff, ensuring full compliance with licensing agreements.

• Assist in other areas of the IT network as required: monitor/maintain web filtering & security devices, procure equipment.

• Liaise with external support suppliers to resolve issues as required

5. Out of hours work

• Ability to work out of hours at short notice to resolve unforeseen system failure as required

Job requirement

Experience

• Over 3 years experience of providing desktop, server and network support & development in a working environment

• Experience of working in a corporation larger than 250 users

Education

• University degree in IT major

• High level of literacy/communication skills, capable of independently producing documentation written to a high, professional standard.

• Strong understanding of core technologies used, including: Windows Server 2008/2012 R2, Exchange 2010/2013, Windows 7, Active Directory, IIS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, WPA, 802.1x, vSphere 5.x, Hyper-V,

• Knowledge of relevant IT field (e.g. CompTIA A+/Network+, relevant Microsoft certifications MCSA/MCSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP)

• Knowledge of computing cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure,..)

Skills

• Skills in other systems desired include: Windows 10, Active Directory, SharePoint, Unix/Linux, Forefront Endpoint Protection, Windows Remote Desktop Services

• Relevant knowledge of server or desktop virtualization technologies and supporting infrastructure

• Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work with other staff as a team

• Excellent organizational and administrative skills

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate to people of a wide range of technical and non-technical backgrounds. Maintain a polite, friendly and courteous manner at all times

Job benefit

- Salary: 12 -17 Gross

- Quarterly/yearly bonus according to the Companys regulations

- Probation for 02 months 85% of official salary.
