Job description

Recruitment and Selection

  • Research and implement recruitment channels to attract qualified teachers;
  • Coordinate the hiring process, including creating job descriptions, job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions;
  • Propose and manage recruitment’s budget effectively.

Training & Performance Management

  • Monitor the onboarding process for new teachers, including orientation sessions and training programs;
  • Conduct regular performance evaluation and goal-setting sessions with teachers; promptly address any performance issues to maintain workflow efficiency;
  • Coordinate professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and promote continuous learning.

Compliance and Employee Relations

  • Enforce policies and procedures to ensure fair treatment for all employees;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts and performance evaluations;
  • Monitor payroll, benefits administration, and other HR-related administrative tasks efficiently;
  • Monitor teacher inquiries, concerns, and grievances to create a positive and supportive work environment.

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations including scheduling, class assignments, and issues resolution;
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency;
  • Monitor and promptly adjust workflow to enhance operational effectiveness;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and system development for operations functions in teacher management;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize features for system development.

Cost Management

  • Negotiate advantageous terms with vendors and manage contracts for cost-effectiveness;
  • Implement and monitor a detailed budget to track expenses and make informed cost-control decisions.

Other

  • Collaborate with governmental bodies such as DOLISA and DOET when necessary;
  • Provide internal training sessions for team members when necessary;
  • Fulfill any additional tasks assigned by the line manager as needed.

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent decision making and leadership skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills;
  • Ability to mobilize and encourage staff to overcome challenges within complex, multinational environment;
  • Experienced in researching and problem solving skills;
  • Have good skills in verbal and non-verbal communication; in both Vietnamese and English;

General & Specialist Knowledge

  • Have knowledge on current laws regarding the labor relating to industry and job responsibilities;
  • Have knowledge on system management in a large organization;

Education & Training

  • At least Bachelor degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related field;
  • English proficiency from IE 6.5 or equivalent;

Relevant Experience

  • At least 4 years experience in related position and in managerial position;

Special Requirements

  • Should be a team player; highly disciplined; proactive and tech-savvy;
  • Should be thorough and conscientious;
  • Computer literacy – MS Office; G-suit; CRM, etc;
