Description de l’emploi

• Raw Materials – cataloguing, variance analysis, and water testing

• Fermentation tracking (alongside brew and cellar team) – cell counts, ph mapping, sensory test, and brite beer testing

• Finished Beer (alongside pack team) – post pack analysis, plating samples, managing inventory, analysis of returns and complaints

• Sensory – batch consistency and flavor test

• Setting up blind triangle tests to investigate batch-to-batch consistency

• Setting up off flavor testing panels to educate our brewery staff

• Assisting with calibration and cleaning of laboratory equipment including: Density meter, ATP, pH, Thermometers, Microscope, DMA Alcolyser

Exigences de l’emploi

• A very strong attention to detail for performing processes exactly as described. Understanding that mistakes at this point can have serious repercussions along the supply chain

• Cleanliness focused, ample concentration, decisive actions, team player, ability to prioritize

• Understanding that we need to protect the beer from ourselves and the environment by using PPE and good judgment.

• Following good practices, harm and damage are easily avoided, but these hazards must be respected.

• Confident in handling chemical solutions, CO2/N2 canisters, and working with agar solutions, pipettes, etc.

• Computer literate and confident entering data into a software system

• Good at English
