Overview

Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC) is a non-profit organization working to promote sustainable building design, construction and management practices in Vietnam. Our activities include developing the LOTUS green building rating system, project assessment, green building training, organizing technical workshops, webinars and other community outreach programs.

If you have a suitable background and share our passion to make green and healthy buildings available for everyone, we invite you to apply for an internship at VGBC.

The Green Building Communication Intern is responsible for developing and implementing a communication plan that will encourage greater adoption of green building practices. The intern will work with communications professionals to gather and create content, create and promote social media campaigns, and develop and execute marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop messages for green building programs, events, and initiatives
  • Create content for blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, web content, case studies, etc.
  • Work with communications professionals to develop a communication plan that will encourage greater adoption of green building practices
  • Create marketing campaigns to engage the organization’s target audience
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies by measuring metrics such as likes/shares/comments on social media posts or web traffic to website pages
  • Provide insight on how to improve our messaging and marketing materials based on insights gathered from research and feedback from stakeholders

Requirements

  • Final year students or recent graduate are encouraged to apply

  • Comfortable with working with English documents
  • Relevant background in architectural, engineering or construction (AEC) or sustainable development fields will be a plus
