Role Overview:

  • Responsible for all aspects of Broking and Operation for a sub-team of Health Solutions, HCM Office, including but not limited to.
  • Produce and implement high quality reporting, insights, data management/analysis, account booking to advise our internal stakeholders to make data-driven decisions which are typically guided by operational practices, management precedents and professional standards.
  • Execute strategies per the policy/protocol in area of Operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Growth and Sales

  • Accountable for HS Broking growth plan as well as the Operation processes and/or program management for HS sub-team.
  • Managing the growth planning framework including a regular and dynamic focus on the Market Assessment process.
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenues through broking and market related opportunities e.g. Structured Portfolio Solutions, new business Carrier Consulting (GRIP/TBS consulting) opportunities
  • Process and monitor income into the system (DITTO/OTRS)
  • Deliver Operation value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of organization.
  • Assist stakeholders in account booking to provide analytics and reporting support for brokers.

Client Ownership

  • Build and maintain the positive and influencing relationship with stakeholders.
  • Networks with senior internal personnel in own area of expertise.

Carrier Ownership

  • Constantly identifying valuable carriers and where the biggest opportunities exist, developing carrier relationships positively influencing sales and client retention.
  • Establishing a carrier information repository including relationship mapping, organisation structure, and details of strengthens / weaknesses and value of placements;
  • Utilize and leverage data to drive targeted growth
  • Creating connections and build relationships with carriers.
  • Driving continual improved carrier engagement via World Class Broking

Product governance and operation

  • Ensuring governance for HS broking
  • Complying standards and practices and work aggressively to reduce broking E&Os
  • Ensuring consistency of pricing structures and usage of insurance markets across Vietnam in cooperation with the manager
  • Ensuring strong collaboration between broking team, Client Facing Team (AMs) and claim team in delivering distinctive client values

Operational Excellence

  • Able to develop conclusions from analyses and apply results to HS’s business operations.
  • Typically possess demonstrable business experience (or equivalent), as well as in-depth knowledge of Operation.
  • Uses knowledge and business acumen to provide consultative advice and recommendations within Operation area.
  • Operates independently and with initiative according to established standards and principles.
  • Ensure the non-negotiable items including AABG, TRS, Commission Variance Reduction, Aon’s Contracts to be executed and meet the KPIs
  • Follow-up and organise signing of contractual documents at conclusion of placement, leading to the production of the cover-note
  • Prepare and send Policy Document, Debit Note and Invoice to clients/insurers
  • Handle the maintenance of placement correspondence/ documents via e-filing
  • Undertake other tasks as might be delegated by supervisor
