Job Brief:

• Eightfold is seeking to hire a Managing Director (MD), to lead and capture the huge growth potential of our business in Vietnam.

• This position will be based in Vietnam and will report to the Board of ELV and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eightfold.

• The goal of the MD is to bring in commercial value for the business and raise the commercial standing of Eightfold in Vietnam

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategize and drive the commercial business in Vietnam to achieve profitability

2. Develop the commercial plans and target-setting for the company

3. Engage the CEO on all matters critical to the business

4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive business forward that is in line with the group strategy and vision

5. Establish and maintain critical relationships with the local government and authorities in addition to commercial counterparties

6. Keep up to date with the changes in local policies and commercial activities with regards to ESG and decarbonization and sharing the information with the team

7. Lead the company as a respectable and visionary MD

Yêu cầu công việc

1. Fluent in both Vietnamese and English

2. Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Public Policy, Sustainability or related disciplines

3. Experience in Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) is preferred. In-depth knowledge of climate related topics and decarbonization process will be a bonus

4. Strong leadership skills with a proven record of managing people and influencing progress and changes

5. Able to lead and drive business in an unstructured environment

6. Effective communicator, both in writing and presentation skills

7. Strong team player and able to work with people from different backgrounds and cultures
