- Design and conduct research programs that apply electrical and materials knowledge to evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications. - Comply with company standards, ensuring all design and regulatory requirements are met. - Guide technical staff through tracking and monitoring their work. - Complete all relevant documents and records. - Identify and work to correct deficiencies in the current process. - Design test methods to validate the performance of systems and components; check the properties. - Research customer requirements to develop electrical products; Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials. - Design and adapt equipment for developing and assembling components. - Develop test methods to ensure power system quality and capacity. - Collect, analyze and synthesize information and trends for product reporting. - Respond to requests and inquiries for technical information. Train and guide other technical staff to complete the project. - Other tasks as requested by Maintenance Manager
