Purchase assistant Intern

• Internship on our purchase department.
• You will be support our team with placing orders (after approval of the head of department) at our verified suppliers.
• You will follow up on these orders based on the confirmed lead-times and the requested delivery in warehouse.
• You will work closely with our warehouse manager to monitor the delivery of the goods, if they are in the right quality, quantity and according to the specifications.
• When all okay these can be signed off and used for production, and when not okay this needs to be reported to the department head and need to be communicated with the supplier to find a solution.
• Incoming invoices need to be checked on what is the delivered and if the correct price and conditions have been applied, if all okay you will submit the invoice with purchase order and packing list to the accountancy department for payment.
• Another important task is controlling the quality of our purchased products.
• You will be involved to check all samples if they are conform the right quality, color, sizes etc.
• These often need to be shipped to our customers for approval.
• You will handle these shipments and communication (in English) with our customers to get these products approved for bulk.
• Further you also follow other various activities that the work requires of you

• We are looking for a man or woman who would like to work in our textile branch (clothing production for export to western countries) with good communication skills in the English language, who also has the training that fits this profile and is willing to work for our company and possibly can get a permanent contract with our company after the internship.
