ACOM is looking for aArabica Coffee Purchaser (Chuyên viên thu mua cà Arabica)Responsibilities
Daily contact with farmers and intermediaries for reviewing pricing information. The AB should additionally ensure that a clear history of the day-to-day
pricing information is kept.
• Coordinate with SMS to develop required projects
• Making purchases under the authorization of the MD or DD for each trade and ensuring full execution of the contracts.
• Coordination with the Production Department of the quantity and quality of coffee required to fulfill our commitment, both for Bao Loc dry mill and Duc Trong Wet mill.
• Providing the Management with a daily and monthly summary/update on the status of all open purchases with comments on counterparty risk where appropriate.
• Managing our exposures to suppliers on their open purchases to avoid defaults that will incur a cost to the company as well as good counterparty risk management.
• Liaising between suppliers and our Quality Control Department with regard to contracted qualities to ensure that both parties are in full agreement on quality prior to the entering of contracts.
• Liaising with suppliers on any quality disputes that may arise as a result of contract execution.
• Creation and regular review of our supply database through talking with farmers and planters and from information gathered by our Sustainable department. This should include in addition to the regular visits to producing areas at least one full pre-crop survey after which the PM will provide the Management with her expectations for the coming crop.

Job Scope
• The Arabica Buyer (AB) will be responsible for improving COM’s access to suppliers and intermediaries in order to improve ACOM’s market share in the Arabica market in the Lam Dong Province. The AB will be required to establish and foster relationships with farmers so that we can have a better understanding of the market.
• The AB will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day Arabica activities. This will include full responsibility for the successful execution of all contracts while ensuring that counterparty risk for the company is minimized.
• The AB will be responsible for a yearly Arabica crop survey in the Lam Dong Province and to create a supply database per producing area. To review regularly its numbers (inventory, crop estimates, and sales) to ensure Management is kept fully informed of all crop trends and developments.
• The AB will constantly bring coordinate efforts among the team of buyers of coffee cherries based in Duc Trong, in order to supply the wet mill with sufficient quantities of cherries.
• The AB will be in charge of all the Arabica parchment or green bean purchasing activities from Lam Dong and Son La

Qualifications• Education: Degree in related fields such as business administration,
•Experience: 5+ years’ experience in Purchasing and in the coffee industry is a plus.
• Communication: Good oral and written communication skills
• Other skills: Fluency in English; Customer relationship and Service skills. Good customer relationship and service management skills. Proven ability to direct and lead the work of others.
• Computers: Proficiency in MS software (Word and Excel and PowerPoint)
