Job title: Business Process Excellence Manager (BPE Manager)Report to: Plant Director
Scope of work:
• Manage the plant’s CI activities to achieve the yearly targets.
• Drive changes to improve the manufacturing processes.
• Lead the Waste reduction and waste prevention activities/projects to improve the material utilization of products.
• Organize Lean Basic training and facilitate workshops to improve business processes.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with all department personnel and coordinate resources to develop problem identification and resolution skills and a culture of continuous improvement throughout the various continuous improvement initiatives including lean methodologies, Six Sigma, VA/VE, TPS, VSM, and other relevant continuous improvement tools
• Involve in the implementation of Strategic projects as part of the Management Team
• Coach, train, develop, and engage team members
• Lead and sustain CI activities including manufacturing, administrative, and development processes.
• Manage and support the Employee Suggestion System.
• Identifies process inefficiencies and identifies opportunities for cost reduction, waste elimination, and capability improvement across the supply chain, manufacturing, and development processes and coordinates/facilitates activities using cross-functional resources to eliminate them.
• Drive standardization efforts including documenting processes, creating value stream maps for various workflows, and implementing control plans.
• Monitors, and reviews information and progress of various waste improvement projects, and procedures throughout the manufacturing operation to achieve the established goals and sustainability.
• Provide routine updates on the progress against the strategic plan to members of senior management, including proposed corrective action for any deviations from the plan.
Exigences de l’emploi
• At least +05 years experienced in the same position, level, automotive industry is preferred• Minimum +05 year in Manufacturing environment; automotive industry is preferred
• Knowledge in LEAN, Six-Sigma
• Personality : Good communicator, Assertive, Drive, Fair, Patient, Responsible
• Creativity
• Must adopt a practical approach towards work
• Must be methodical
• High level of problem solving and analytical skills – able to analyse data and information from
different areas of the business and come up with a summarized conclusion and argument.
• Time Management – able to prioritize tasks and allocate time appropriately
• Presentation Skills – able to deliver public speaches to top management with confidence and clarity
• Team work skills – able work in a team and in harmony with all team members but at the same time confident of own skills and opinions.
