Description de l’emploi

Simple quotation and order handling and/or provide day-to-day support to Sales prior to, during and after sales process, by assisting with customer enquiries and sales administration in line with sales plan and needs of sales teams in order to optimise sales process and assist with the realisation of sales targets

* Analysis

- Collect, select, structure, combine and interpret customer and sales data, information and developments based on analyses and extensive research

* After sale service calls

- Contact customers before/after purchase, explore the customers’ (initial) request/demands, impressions and experiences and answer sales-support related questions

* Proposal & contract support

- Contribute to the draft of proposals and contracts by gathering all relevant documents and other input in close cooperation with sales and business development

* Account management

- Develop and strengthen relations with (strategic) customers and act as a business partner by informing the customer on Damen portfolio development

* Construction & aftersales

- Monitor production process, contracts and relationships with customers, assess and ensure correct handling of claims

* New business

- Track and analyse the market (developments), initiate relationships with potential (key) customers and detect and acquire new business opportunities

* Networking & stakeholder management

- Build and maintain a network of internal and/or external stakeholders, represent Damen and own division/area/market, initiate market activities in line with business needs, policies and external developments

Exigences de l’emploi

- Accuracy: Accurate and on top of things (part sales) - Communication: Easy to communicate with different levels in the organization internally and externally. Get things done internally. - Expertise/Knowledge: + Knowledge of the Viet Nam market, culture, maritime business and supply base + Commercial expertise - Flexibility: Being able to change or be changed easily according to the job requirement - Take innitiative: Be the first to take action in a particular situation - Networking: Ability to develop and maintain relations, alliances and coalitions within and outside the organization and to use them in order to obtain information, support and cooperation. - Focus of activities: Able to review, analyse and judge standardised incoming requests and execute a moderate number of sales (support) activities for such requests, based on existing procedures, precedents and examples - Optimisation: Executes and/or signals improvements to the quality of processes * Education - University certificate majoring Technical or Marketing/ Sale. - Knowledge of Microsoft office - Good Written and Verbal English * Experience - 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience - Experience within Damen has preference
